I rented True Romance last weekend. It has been years since I seen it… It was written by Taranteno and you know I was completely entertained as I usually am by the films he is involved in.
The movie has an all star cast with many cameo’s. When some of these big names step in for little rolls like this it is often a good sign. These great actors just want to be part of a interesting project.
It includes all the good things:
- Love
- Drugs
- Violence
- Racism
- Roller Coasters
- Pimps
- Corrupt cops
- Snitches
Now don’t you want to see what happens?
If you have never seen this movie… Your missing out… Check it… And I wanted to post about a movie because I noticed there was only one post about movies in the archive for this site…And I have been once again trying to build up this site…Just for the fun of it.

Disneyland. The place where dreams come true. But what if ya want drink? Mom and dad may want to tie one on after all… Relieve a little stress of Mickey and the crew… You dig?
It’s been suggested that there is a “private club” inside Disneyland where that is actually happening.. My understanding is you have to be a “member” to get a drink in there…What gives?
If I were a drinking man and was having a hot day waiting in long lines I might want to stop off somewhere and down a few pints of Guinness to “take the edge” away from a potentially stressful day.
Hey now… It’s a small world after all…Right?

Does science have proof of a missing day as stated in the bible? This guy was telling me recently that NASA is in the process of finding a “missing day” in time that would prove and correspond with the bible as it is written:
Joshua 10
13 So the sun stood still,
and the moon stopped,
till the nation avenged itself on [a] its enemies,
as it is written in the Book of Jashar.
The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day. 14 There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the LORD listened to a man. Surely the LORD was fighting for Israel!
So what do ya think?
I have never heard this speculation before… It would be pretty groovy if that kind of proof were substantiated… Don’t ya think? Hey there are plenty of mysteries out there. And everybody loves a good mystery. The creator of the universe can stop a day in time can’t he?

Remember that groovy band Kiss… “Knights in Satan Service” Haha…I was a big fan when I was a kid. They were the first “shock rock” band I remember…They did songs about the good things in life… Sex!
They painted their faces and wore these cool costumes… They jumped around on stage and had fire and platforms and shiny drums. The bass player spit up blood and blew fire… It has been said they were the “hardest working band of all time”.
There band consisted of:
Cat
Star child
Vampire
Space Man
So where they the Kings in Satan Service? Or was this just a clever marketing publicity stunt? Perhaps the movement to label all rock music as “the devils” music came up with this and when Kiss heard it they simply didn’t deny it thinking it would sell a few more records.
Oh sure their songs about rock and roll lifestyle sex and God’s of Thunder was a bit over the top in the 70’s… Not even close to what these guys are singing about now… Come on now… Ever heard of the band Slayer?
Hey..Kiss is still rocking around out there.. Can you dig it?

Do you remember the Pepsi challenge? You would pull up to a grocery store and they would have this stand up there… You step up to the little booth and they give you 2 tiny cups of soda and you tell them which one you think tastes the best.
I chose coke… I had to think about it for a minute tho.. My mom had always told me that “Pepsi tastes’ like Coke with dirt in it”. Well, when I took the actual “test” I couldn’t tell…And honestly, in that setting, thought that Pepsi MAY taste just a little bit better…
Uh… Nope.
I’m a Coke guy for life hipsters…That’s just the way it is… Now that i’m older and slower and bigger and all I have decided to switch to the diet variety.
Coke RULES!
