How to Find a Girlfriend on Twitter

I’m single again. My latest fascination has been twitter.  Perhaps I could use it instead of dating sites to find a new girlfriend.  It can’t hurt…Right?

I spend a lot of time on twitter so instead of promoting myself  and talking

about how cool my blog is perhaps I could find a hot dates to go on in my spare time. (I can’t just blog endlessly?)

I read bloggs teaching how to be a successful blogger.  They often suggest writing a “list” post. So I have decided to do just that. Are ya ready?

And here it goes….

How To Find a Girlfriend on Twitter

Create an Account
You gotta sign up first dude. You cant sit around playing X-box and expect to get hot twitter followers. So turn off the game and bust a move.

Spice up Your Profile
Don’t just use the default skin. Put something cool up that reflects your personality and why you are the one to git’ wit.  Make sure you make a good impression on you “bio”

Have a website
If you don’t have your own website you could just enter your Myspace profile in that section. Make sure that your profile at Myspace looks good to.  That way they can visit you there too and add you as a friend. Or at least get more info about ya.

Start Tweeting
Yep, like facebook start posting and texting  cool things you know and see. Talk about your “availability”. What your into…Who you be wit’ Your favorite food and drink and popular culture hipster  ramblings. Do this several times a day.

Follow Chicks
Do a “single” search using twitter. This will open real time treading for the term “single” Start following every single girl you find attractive.  Also use the hash tag (#) in your tweets and profile.  #single #hotties #dating ETC They will follow you back.  And when they do:

Strike up Conversations
Use the @hotchick (example) to start talking to girls. Compliment them and practice putting the twitter “mack” down.

Add Local Chicks
Do a search for your town. Follow all the hot chicks you see in that search. That is if you want somebody close to where you live. Twitter is worldwide..Ya know?  After a few online train wrecks myself  I’d be fine with a long distance twitter girlfriend.

Hook Up
“So glad to finally meet you in person. I have really been enjoying your tweets”
Would you like to join me down at the cyber cafe? Oh, I see you have your Iphone…Let’s rock!

I’m working on it with one gurl. But she wouldn’t even tweet meWhat gives? But hey, I got a really good feeling about this one 🙂

Devil Possession The Emily Rose Exorcism

You believe in devil possession ?? I checked out the Exorcism of Emily Rose…That was some spooky Halloween stuff. You dig? The fact that the movie is based on a true story makes it even more eerie . It has to be one of the spookiest movies I have ever seen.

Deep Questions

Was that chick really possessed by some kind of evil force (devils) or was she  mentally ill? Did that priest actually prevent her from getting the medical help that she needed? The meds she was taking obviously were not working.

I’d love to talk about Psyche med’s. But I don’t want to get sidetracked. Ya know?
Remember the Exorcist?

That crazy movie with Linda Blair back in the day… I saw it with my parents at the drive in.. Fortunately I fell asleep. But that was one scary movie too. It’s said that people were “fainting” and vomiting in theaters from a total freak out! Wow!

Emily is more real.

She brings up lots of spiritual questions for the viewer. For somebody to watch that and not consider something being “out there” is well…unbelievable. (Pardon the irony) There seems to be unseen powers in this universe that can’t be explained.

Check it this Halloween

Yep. Halloween is fun! Watch the movie,  then discuss God, devil possession and all that wacky stuff  . Atheist’s welcome… Like…Totally 🙂

Lost Ending – Disappointed? Pure Stupidity

I wanted to start a hateful Facebook campaign concerning the stupidity and  the end of Lost. I did… but it got “lost” in the mix and firestorm of internet chatter in disappointment of the finale.

That show was some of the best TV I have ever seen. Unfortunately the producers must have decided that it was the last season, so, who cares?
A friend of mine made this observation right after the finale:
“Dude, If your anything like me, the “Light in the cave” was truly cringe inducing, I’ve got a totally easy way to explain that – All Jacob & Man in Black’s pseudo-mom had to say was… the light fell from the sky eons ago… boom, suddenly, it like is it from Heaven, is it extra-terrestrial?? Whoa! That light is heavy, not some freak-show mother nature new age feelgood light in a freaking hobbit hole”.
Hollywood continue to mix  spirituality and science fiction
Uh… Give us a break man.. They just don’t seem to do it very well.
Perhaps and  ending of  Hurley and Ben siting on the beach looking out at a passing ship would have been better.
Ben: One day I’m going to kill you.
Hurley: I know
LOST – The End.
The first 5 season’s where awesome. But the 6th. Thumbs down  🙁
Remember: “They are NOT in purgatory…We promise“..

The Shield a Violent Look at Dirty Cops.

The Shield on FX  is a violent look at dirty cops. I watched every show since stumbling upon it one night while channel surfing. I was a amazed at the level of violence and downright hard core action happening on TV.  Isn’t this regular TV?

Vic Mackey is a good cop/dirty cop with a “heart”..

Uh… Yeah… He seems  bent on fighting crime but also likes to reap the benefits of the criminals he fights against. Then, try’s to justify his behavior by “doing the right thing” for his kids, family and society…

He’s a rather twisted guy. But you gotta love em’

His side kick, Shane, is simply a dumbass.

What else can I say… How did that guy pass his police exam? He cares for his friend Vic deeply (he worships him?). But Vic is usually disappointed in  Shane. Shane just can’t seem to stay out of trouble.  Poor guy.

Then there is this  “gay” black cop.

He is also a Christian and attempts to suppress his gayness by going to church and being religious. This was an interesting story line when it first happened.  Then they  let his character drift off into obscurity. What happened?

The single chick that got pregnant during a fling with Vic. She hates him now and therefore is trying to keep him out of her Childs life. He just kept trying to be a father to the kid but she knew better.

Lastly there’s Dutch. He is a “regular” nerd cop with a big brain.

He’s the guy always getting picked on in school But he is smart and is able to make some big cases by his logic and placing himself in the mind of the criminal. His partner is became the chief of the police station she’s a good cop too but is always sick with lupus. Oh my..

Damn, I really got to know all those cats.

The show is long over but I kinda miss them guys.  Threating and beating up people. Robbing trains and double crossing and all that good police work.

It’s a dirty job but somebody’s gotta do it.

2 Reviews: Revolutionary Road & Taken

My bro Dean D. Gives his hip review of 2 movies. “Revolutionary Road” and “Taken”  Que em up at Netflix and see if ya agree 🙂

Revolutionary Road

Did you know American suburbanites of the 1950s were often

Taken to Revolutionary Road

desperately unhappy? It’s true.

Know what else?

People today are often desperately unhappy as well, and many, many of them are secular liberals. What’s to become of them?

The frustrating Sam Mendes directed this movie. It’s even worse than his “American Beauty and “Road to Perdition.” Not only is it dated and banal and leaden, it is also written in such a way that it’s impossible to care about the characters. Pity those poor American suburbanites.

Taken

For a suspenseful action flick, Taken, which pits Liam Neeson against sex-slave traders who have kidnapped his daughter, is inferior to the TV series, “24.” This doesn’t mean it isn’t exciting or well-made, though.

It’s both. However . . .

Most of the violence the criminals receive at Neeson’s hand they absolutely deserve. On the other hand, the film glorifies a murderer.
