The Sheild / Son’s of Anarchy

Watching TV on the net is easy these days… Check out the trailer for the 2 shows I am (regrettably) addicted to:

FX pushes TV to the limit… Sometimes it’s good…sometimes weak… But it is always going to the edge…. But I just keep watching the Shield season after season… I like, really know those guys now.

Is BigFoot Real?

I remember back in the day playing in bar bands…We used to play in a little town in Oklahoma – Disney… There’s not a whole lot there… A store, couple of bars, a church camp and Bigfoot.

I went over to a little party after the gig where the folks that lived up there claimed they see Bigfoot on a regular basis… We were discussing this over a joint and some beers. Now does that tell you something about the conversation?

I didn’t believe those guys but they had some serious convictions going on… He lived out there.. I kind of laughed it off.. But is Bigfoot real? There’s always  news about him and other monsters and UFO’s and such… Stuff that’s fun to think about. And he’s running for president ya know?

The Savage Nation

Happy Weekend everybody…Don’t forget that Halloween is coming soon. Time for fright night…. Of course you can get plenty of that from the Savage Nation. Fox AM radio network.

Us “liberals” love that guy. Spooky You dig?

The Liberal Media

Who is the “liberal media” ??

  • Bloggers
  • Newscasters
  • Movie Makers
  • Musicians
  • NPR
  • TV Broadcasters

I am a “hard working” liberal. Perhaps if I had been born into money I wouldn’t be like this. I would be more conservative. But I guess I’m a product of my environment. Us blue collar guys need to be on the left… IMHO

I am amazed however at how many “poor” people like myself are republicans. They are probably listening to AM radio all day at work. Those guys are the “conservative media” I suppose those guys  (Rush, Hannity, ETC) are needed to get us poor folks over into their camp.

It’s a Savage Nation -That guy is my personal favorite of the talking right heads.

Daddy Inhofe – Stubborn Republican Man?

I don’t know where he came from but I been hearing about him since I was a kid. My parents always detested him as he was always causing them some kind of misery. My dad could probably go on and on about the grief he caused here in Oklahoma.

But I don’t just take my dad’s word for it… I just don’t like the way he looks. I was watching a commercial with him walking down a country road here in Oklahoma. He just looks like a shady character. A stubborn republican man that always works for the “right thing” walking down the road frowning…. Just a mean ol’ man that guy… Daddy Inhofe.

His commercial claims that his opponent Andrew Rice is easy on crime and let’s bad people run the streets or something. Whatever… Last month Inhofe was saying something about how Obama doesn’t love his country and shouldn’t be president because of it… He is always saying some kind of weak comments… That Inhofe guy cracks me up..

Still, he manages to win term after term… Strange… It’s an Oklahoma thang… That’s all.

Why is the State Fair so Expensive?

Its fair season here in Tulsa again.. I used to love to go to the fair and see the midway lights and laughing rides. It is always fun to look at the new products and unique things the fair has to offer… People watching is particularly entertaining.

But with the economy going down the toilet who can afford to go to the fair? It is a whopping 8 bucks just to walk in the gate. That includes nothing except the privilege of being able to look at exhibits and bizarre people in the crowds.

I  boycotted the fair last year
because the fairgrounds terminated the lease for Bells Amusement park at the drop of a hat. I felt they had done them wrong by just throwing them out on their ear. With little explanation as to why.

So, with that in mind I aint got a couple of big bills to take my family to the state fair this year. Who can afford an $8.00 turkey leg anyways? And it wouldn’t be the same without Bell’s. A Tulsa tradition and landmark that the fair board eliminated for some parking spaces. It just ain’t right – ya dig?
