Cover Bands – Original Bands – Chrisitian Rock Stars.

I swore off playing in cover bands years ago. Now I’m playing in one… We are getting ready to earn some money doing it next week.

Guess that’s the difference between cover and original musicians. Playing covers get you paid right away.. Original projects are for artistic pleasure and the “dreams” of one day making tons of money… Of course somebody has got to actually like your stuff enouph to buy it.

Then there’s the folks doing music for God. It’s either covers or originals too so the same rules apply… They are just doing “cleaner” songs. There are still certainly “Christian Rock Stars”

The Qualities in Woman that Men Search For.

Many of the profiles for men on a dating site will have certain qualities that they consider attractive in a potential date…
Here is an example:

Looking for an easy going woman which means looking for a woman who will romp with me whenever I want and not get upset when I don’t call.

Looking for a woman who takes care of her body and is
attractive…meaning a woman who is 5’10 weighing in at a whopping 120lbs, long blonde hair blue eyes and a rack that comes around the corner 5 minutes before she does.

Looking for a woman that is secure and can take care of
herself…meaning that’s because I live in my mom’s basement and work at mickey d’s and my money goes for a VIDEO games and beer.

I like to take long walks, hold hands, snuggle on the couch and watch T.V. open doors for the ladies..which means I will get up to pee if I have to…I’ll touch you during commercials just to get your attention to grab me a beer…..Yes you can snuggle on the couch with me, just don’t touch me….Yea I’ll open the door but when we are done it’s on babyyyyy

I like a woman who can feel comfy wearing t-shirt and sweats or a lady who can dress up in heels for a night on the town…..Yea she better be able to wear t-shirts and sweats. Gotta be comfy when she is mowing the yard and she better be able to dress up and look dayum good fer my pals

I like a woman who knows what she wants…..yea she may think she knows what she wants but eventually I can change her to think she wants what I want…

I like a woman who isn’t controlling…..yup sure nuff that woman better cook me some dinner and BY GOLLY KNOW HER PLACE

I like independent women….OF course she must be able to drive herself home after a meaningless night of ….???

That’s funny stuff huh? This was lifted from a dating site I have recently been playing around on… Hope everybody finds LOVE!

Liberal’s Too Easy on Crime.

I was reading the newspaper online today about these 2 guys holding up a gas station/convenience store. Then I started reading the comments of people… You know…The OPINION’s  There was one that read as follows:

Liberals say: Now let’s not get down on our misguided youth. The lack of parental involvement, the lack of social programs and with ‘the man’ keeping them down, these poor kids just don’t know any better. Let’s rehabilitate them, house them and place them in jobs.

Conserves say: Get a rope.

That’s pretty funny huh? Watching someone use that story as a platform to boast their right wing extremist views… It’s fun watching the right side squirm around freaking out because Obama won… The fact is the Democrat’s could have had Micky Mouse in the race and still won… It’s a done deal – Bush ruined it for em… And Rush and the rest of those AM radio cat’s are not able to change it.

If the Liberals had their way the street’s would be FULL of criminals… Good thing the conservatives are around to “hang em high”

Emotions and Addiction

So what are you addicted to?

I know I’m addicted to everything from red stripe beer to ice cream… I gotta have more of everything and less of nothing… Constant stimulation is the order of the day… If not, them I’m sleeping… Let the good times roll! If their ain’t no fun. I’m outta here. Now Tweet it!

It’s not enough to see that new Star Wars movie… I gotta see that movie stoned!

Stimulate my emotions… When I go to the shopping mall I gotta study chicks. Make millions of emotional and mental evaluations. And then move on to the next stage of visualizing the greatness of my conclusions. THAT one AND that one would bring total bliss to my life! Gee what a revelation.

Now I know some of ya cat’s gotta identify with this. Were only human.
HEY! I’m working on it… At least I recognize myself… Get happy under my own skin! (as long as it’s comfortable)
