Living here in OK is just a turnpike away from getting where ya need o go. You always have a choice.. You can take the free road or you can shave an hour or more off your trip by paying for the faster rout.
This isn’t a totally bad thing. Expecially if you have lived her you entire life… You get used to it ya know?
My problem with it all is a few times when I pull up to the toll gate and throw my change into the little bucket nothing happens. Hmmm? Maybe I didn’t count it right…So I grab some more and throw that in too.
The light stays RED. What the heck? I look over at the booth with the worker and they are working away… Not looking at me.
“HEY! I’m outta change here… I put plenty in and the light won’t turn green…Wassup”?
No answer… Just a sullan look my way and then back to work….
So…. I just drive on through anyways… DING DING DING DING. There goes the alarm… I keep driving looking for police to pull me over.
This has happened at least 3 times on different turnpikes. If they are going to have those things then perhaps they should step up the maintenance on the equipment.
I can hardly wait till the ticket comes in the mail from when they took a picture of my license tag.

Well here we are surfing the internet with nothing to do. So much information and we sit and do it for hours.
My addictive personality confirms that when I get into something I can’t quit and just keep on going and going and going. Like the engergizer bunny.
My house is a wreck from all of the addiction I submitted myself to lately. I went ahead, despite my knowing better and just did what felt good or the moment… It was a mistake.
Now, of course I simply traded one addiction for another… Playing on Facebook, dating sites, news sites and blogs…
The internet is a hard on relationships… Or good.. Depends on how you look at. I have met many great people on the internet. Others that were great, after getting together it seemed the internet was a tool to ruin us. Go figure?
There are certainly worse things this hipster could do than sit in front of the screen 4 to 6 hours running talking to people. But how constructive is the conversation anyways… Is it for good, or bad? What are the motives?
Wow, I’m certainly asking myself a lot of questions today…And as a friend points out… I already know the answers… Ha ha…

Well here it is spring time in Tulsa… I look outside and see the black sky and “wall clouds” as they say on TV. It’s an exciting time of year.
The fact that it happens during the TV spring sweeps makes it frustrating sometimes. You know, your trying to watch your favorite TV show but all you see on the TV is a huge radar screen. “Don’t worry, we will replay your favorite shows on Sunday afternoon” Hey, what if I got something to do on Sunday afternoon?
Oh I really don’t mind. It is necessary for all the channels to report about the potential of one hitting your house. I have come close as a child but never really experienced the full-blown tragedy of a tornado. We can put my show’s on the back burner. It’s not all that bad. Lost was the only show I watched at the time, and it’s over now. (As pitiful as it was)
So here in Oklahoma during Tornado season you can expect to see a lot of the colorful radar screen on you high def. TV. All our weather guys got it going on with the Doppler and all that. special gear that helps keep us safe.

Hey, it’s kinda fun blogging again. It’s been a few months since I posted. I’m being a good boy now so I’ll try to build this site back up again. Then I can turn around and sell it for 10 bucks so I can get a pack of cig’s and a cup of coffee. And, watch the storm come in.

Obama is still smoking … I commented about this during the election. That they would need a white house smoke hole.
I know this because I heard on the news he had went to the doctor for his physical and they recommened that he “continue to try and quit”
Now how is he supposed to do that given the stress of his job? I just know I’d be a smoking fool if I had that job… You dig?
Well my 1st question today is what brand does he smoke? Is he like me and smoke the homegrown ghetto brand from the Indian smoke shop. It’s just as good as a camel once you get 1/2 way through the first carton.
Hey, folks consider him the messiah or something right? How can he do that if he is smoking? (And paying the subsequent “sin tax”)
Oh wait, many consider him to be the anti christ.

Oh yes… I love to rent movies. I rarely buy them because when I do I watch then one time and then they sit on the shelf or get stolen… The good movies anyways.
But why does there have to be a struggle with renting movies? Oh, I just know all you hipsters understand what I’m sayin. You rent one from blockbuster, watch it and then take it back and then you recieve a little telephone call ( or not) and then they hit your bank account..
Hey, I already brought that movie back… You dig?
So you go up to the store and and say… You guys took the money out of my bank account for a movie that I already brought back… Well, we can’t see on our computer what the main office is doing. They really just don’t have any answers for me. Oh wait…Here it is… We have a some new employees.
Sure…always blame it on the new guy.
I thought I’d give redbox a try…It’s cheap and seems easy enough. I set up an account online and reserved a movie. I went to go pick it up and it didn’t work… “Can’t dispense movie at this time” Of course it hit my bank account anyways.
So. Guess I may try a mail order service… I got a really good feeling about that one.
