Liberal’s Too Easy on Crime.

I was reading the newspaper online today about these 2 guys holding up a gas station/convenience store. Then I started reading the comments of people… You know…The OPINION’s There was one that read as follows:

Liberals say: Now let’s not get down on our misguided youth. The lack of parental involvement, the lack of social programs and with ‘the man’ keeping them down, these poor kids just don’t know any better. Let’s rehabilitate them, house them and place them in jobs.

Conserves say: Get a rope.

That’s pretty funny huh? Watching someone use that story as a platform to boast their right wing extremist views… It’s fun watching the right side squirm around freaking out because Obama won… The fact is the Democrat’s could have had Micky Mouse in the race and still won… It’s a done deal – Bush ruined it for em… And Rush and the rest of those AM radio cat’s are not able to change it.

If the Liberals had their way the street’s would be FULL of criminals… Good thing the conservatives are around to “hang em high”

I just can’t keep up with it all! Greg seen a lot of action… And there’s not even a toilet in the shared bathroom of the kids’ Hey! my favorite episode is the one with the flying saucer.. I’m a spacey kind of guy, Ya Know?

Emotions and Addiction

So what are you addicted to?

I know I’m addicted to everything from red stripe beer to ice cream… I gotta have more of everything and less of nothing… Constant stimulation is the order of the day… If not, them I’m sleeping… Let the good times roll! If their ain’t no fun. I’m outta here. Now Tweet it!

It’s not enough to see that new Star Wars movie… I gotta see that movie stoned!

Stimulate my emotions… When I go to the shopping mall I gotta study chicks. Make millions of emotional and mental evaluations. And then move on to the next stage of visualizing the greatness of my conclusions. THAT one AND that one would bring total bliss to my life! Gee what a revelation.

Now I know some of ya cat’s gotta identify with this. Were only human.
HEY! I’m working on it… At least I recognize myself… Get happy under my own skin! (as long as it’s comfortable)

How to Overcome Shyness

Shy and terrified of people. “She is gonna think I’m pathetic.” She will think my opinion is worthless. (Kind of like this blog)

It’s all in your mind I think. The fact is most people enjoy talking about themselves so that is a good starting point to overcome shyness. Consider these examples:

I like your blue hair. You see colored hair everywhere these days.
You tired of this rain yet? It’s been raining here for weeks.
Did that tattoo hurt? You already know it did.
Think Obama can fix this economy? – Pry them for their political views.
You seen that new Star Trek movie? Label yourself a Nerd right away.

Exercise these 5 questions at your local Wal-Mart and make new friends.
Hey, wait… What the heck’s wrong with being shy anyways?

Blog Content Thieves

Well… As I sit around going on a blogging frenzy I notice that there are Content thieves out there stealing my posts… Like I really have something to say that’s worth stealing. 🙂

I actually wrote that article but it looks like it was enhanced by some computer tool that re-writes the article adding more “colorful” words.

Hey I think they made the article more controversial and interesting! Except parts of it didn’t make sense which is why I suspect a program re wrote it apposed to a actual person…

Go ahead and take my stuff folks. I’ll write more crap for you to plagerize.

Social Anxiety Disorder? A review of symptoms.

You ever heard of Social Anxiety Disorder? There are just so many of them these days… I like to pick and choose which one I could possible be… I often ask friends to go ahead and “diagnose” me… Know what I’m sayin?

Allow me to consider the symptoms one by one:

Eating or drinking in front of others. I’m sure I’ll spill something all over my clothes or smack my food…
Writing or working in front of others.– They are always looking over my shoulder ready to suggest something I can do better.
Being the center of attention. OMG everybody’s staring at me.
Interacting with people, including dating or going to parties. I can’t wait till this party/date is over so I can get home and be by myself.
Asking questions or giving reports in groups. They will think my ideas are ridiculous. Or downright stupid.
Using public toilets. – Your kidding right? Home or Quiktrip stores are the only options.
Talking on the telephone. Honey, can you call in sick for me?

Perhaps some self medicating Vodka could be the cure? Or would that make it worse? Don’t believe everything you think.

Dentist Trips and XRays

I suppose I have had about 500 dental x-rays in the past few years.

The problem is that insurance changes at the job and then you have to go find a new dentist and they all want to do a full set of x-rays…. I suppose you could go back to your old dentist to get his but I’m sure that won’t be good enough for the new dentist.

I never remember having to take so many x-rays at the dentist my whole childhood and early adult years… Now things have changed . They gotta see EVERYTHING that needs to be fixed. For me, as usual… It’s a mouthful…

PANORAMA X-Ray… And I still havn’t gotten my teeth cleaned… That comes later with two 2 hour appointments… I can hardly wait!

Keeping Focus. A sleeping Blog?

Apparently this blog needs tons of sleep… I guess I’ll try to resurrect it once again…Been working on tracks for my latest record. When i get it done of course I’ll post it on my Tulsa Underground Music site…Which is actually my old website when i used to be a freelance web designer… I quit that hobby… To much bleeding competition… Kind of like music… 🙂

Can’t I just keep focused on one hobby at a time? Nope… I guess not.

Is Smoking Cigarettes Bad for You?

In a word: YES! Smoking is bad for you…Ask any smoker…They (we) all know this. And we are all trying to quit. That would be almost 50 million of us that know it’s bad… And yet we keep doing it… What a trip!

How do you know it’s bad? It says (in effect) that it will kill you right on the side of the pack… Smoking contains carbon monoxide… Isn’t that deadly?

Many cigarette companies offer little pamphlets in the pack or carton that offer websites and tools to help you quit… Perhaps even THEY know it’s bad for you. Go figure… Or it may be that they have been in hot water before because of lawsuits. They knew it kills people and is very addictive…And they made it more addictive. So are they responsible? I don’t know..We smokers already know it’s bad for you… Right?

Gee after typing all that I need a smoke…

Do Drugs Enhance Musical Creativity?

I took some Tylenol PM last night. I was playing my heart out on the guitar.. I played some of my favorite covers.. Paul Simon, Pink Floyd, The Beatles. Tossed in a few of my originals… I may play a little picnic gig thing in May.

You know, I think it sounded better because I was getting a little woozy from the “PM” part of the Tylenol. Or maybe it was in my head. In any case:

DO mild altering drugs enhance musical creativity? Do they make you play better? You know there are tons of musicians out there that think so. And some of the best records in history were made while “under the influence.” Or that’s what is said in musician drug circles.

Some Bands on Drugs:

The Doors
Greatful Dead
Rolling Stones
Jefferson Airplane
Led Zeppelin
ETC..etc..etc

But drugs have a way of telling lies. Maybe these people were talented and creative rather they were on drugs or not. Perhaps creativity is a gift… Drugs are just taking the credit. What do you think?
